Bob Reeves has spent decades with his hands in the soil. Starting with working in the garden centre and nursery owned by Bob's family for generations, he would look after the plants and ensure they were healthy and ready for customers. Bob noticed far too many healthy plants returned because they did not survive transplanting.
At an industry trade show, Bob met a Mycology professor who talked about microscopic fungi's role in helping plants become more resilient. Not only did it help with their survival, but it also created the conditions that allowed them to survive without synthetic fertilizers.
Intrigued by this idea, he started experimenting with different types of fungi. Comparing the plants using the new fungal mixture to the plants growing with standard fertilizers, it became apparent that the plants treated with these fungi were doing much better - than the ones treated with the best chemical fertilizers on the market.
